Gaudí Golf Club

Gaudí Golf Club sits on the western edge of Reus, the city that gave the world Antoni Gaudí. The course threads through Mediterranean pines and olive trees, with water hazards on several holes that give the layout more visual drama than you might expect from a city-fringe course.

The design favours strategy over length. At par 71 with a total length around 5,500 metres, it rewards accurate iron play and course management rather than raw distance off the tee. The signature hole is the 4th, an island green par 3 that demands a precise short iron over water. The 13th is the most photogenic: two lakes connected by a waterfall frame the approach, and the hole plays as one of the most visually striking in the Costa Daurada.

The clubhouse occupies a renovated three-storey manor house. The ground floor holds reception, changing rooms, a pro shop, and a snack bar. The second floor houses the Antoni Gaudí convention room, used for corporate events and celebrations. The top floor is a social lounge with a panoramic terrace overlooking the course.

The practice facilities are strong: the driving range was recently remodelled and expanded, and is considered one of the best in Tarragona province. A golf academy offers coaching for all levels and ages.

Beyond the 18 holes, the club offers a Pitch & Putt course, FootGolf, a swimming pool, and padel courts, which makes it a practical option for groups where not everyone plays golf. The restaurant focuses on local seasonal produce.

Gaudí Golf has recently gained recognition as an official host venue for PGA España and Catalunya ProTour events, confirming its credentials as a serious course in the region. Combined with its accessible green fees, proximity to Reus Airport (direct flights from the UK), and position between Tarragona's Roman heritage and the Costa Daurada beaches, it fills a useful gap in any southern Catalunya golf itinerary.
